John’s talent for storytelling wasn’t always appreciated. (In the third grade, his talking during class labeled him a “problem kid.”) Luckily for us, he straightened out, was rewarded with a camera and soon found the right outlet for sharing his important news: at age 12, he became the youngest producer at the local television station in Raleigh, North Carolina. His program, “The Big Bad Show,” was ranked Best Public Access Show in the Triangle during its six-year run. During that time he also made three feature films—one of which was recognized by the National Television Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Following high school, John founded Third Floor Productions and over the years worked with a range of clients including non-profits, ad agencies, national political campaigns and Fortune 500 companies—leveraging a range of media (video to podcasting to web) to deliver personalized marketing strategies.
Most recently, John has joined innovation Management—bringing Third Floor’s viral marketing expertise to expand iM’s portfolio of offerings. The new division of iM will offer one-to-one marketing campaigns, from concept development through production and execution.
